    I don’t know how old the clock is but would guess it dates to the 1930s-1940s?. The clock is approx. 19 1/2” across, about 9 1/2” high and about 6 1/2” from front to back, including the rounded glass front.

  5. 1920 Seth Thomas Mantle Clock Not Working

    Beautiful clock that was actually working up until recently, my suspicion is that the pendulum balance is off, it looks a little bit wonky when it moves.I lack the knowledge to investigate further. You can see on the back that this clock was serviced by a technician in 1974, it looks like this person also believed this clock was from 1920. there is more writing on the top right corner vz 7/74, Not sure what that's all about. it's about 15 in tall, 9 in wide, a little over 5 in deep. please be sure to check all the pictures carefully as I don't accept returns. shipping with USPS ground advantage

    The dark red "rosewood" style adamantine finish is pretty scarce to find. Adamantine is a Seth Thomas patented laminate finish from the late 1800's. It was made by the Seth Thomas Clock Co. in Thomaston, Connecticut in 1916.
